Carol Bingham Fine Art

I grew up in a small town in central Illinois. Summers were hot, and winters, bitterly cold. Rivers, woods, and fields were my backyard playgrounds. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL, I began to focus on painting the land I grew up in and capturing the feeling of my early life experiences. I place high importance on  texture and color in my landscapes, interesting narratives, and character in my portraits.
Most of my work is in oil, but I have also used watercolor, acrylic inks, graphite, collage, and mixed media.
